I am human

I am Human
I have a heart which loves,
have a mind which prays
have a life, have dreams
I am human
to all those people who are out on the road,
who see me as a body and not as a person
who touch me inappropriately, whistle, push or tease
those who rape, assault
I am here to stay, I will survive,
As I have for so long, I have earned my self respect
I will fight till my last breath.....
if I have to fight my own brethren, my own species, the so called civilized beings
Its not I who is ashamed of being who I am,
Its shame  to you who do this
shame to you who support this
shame to you who don't condone this
shame to you who can but will not make a difference
you put out one, ten more will survive
I am human, I will survive.....
